May 2026: Our Month of Grace for Consistent Dominion
WEEK 2 (MAY 9–15) — BUILDING CONSISTENCY
Focus: Systems, routines, repeatable actions
Reality: Results must be reproducible
DAY 11 — CONSISTENCY OVER INTENSITY
THE STEADY DRIP THAT BREAKS THE ROCK
Zechariah 4:10
“For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel...”
Opening Thought
Intensity gets you started, but consistency keeps you there.
Reflection
We often celebrate "intensity"—the all-night prayer meeting, the 18-hour workday, or the radical fast. While these have their place, intensity alone cannot produce **Consistent Dominion**. Intensity is a sprint; dominion is a marathon. You cannot build a "New Glory" legacy on occasional bursts of energy followed by long periods of exhaustion and inactivity.
From first principles, the "plummet" (a tool for measuring steady progress) in Zerubbabel’s hand was more important than a loud celebration. Small, steady actions performed with precision over time will always out-produce a massive effort that cannot be sustained. A river doesn't cut through a rock because of its power, but because of its persistence.
Consistency is the grace to keep showing up when the "excitement" of April’s manifestation has worn off. It is the ability to pray for 15 minutes every single day rather than 5 hours once a month. It is the discipline to save a small amount consistently rather than waiting for a "windfall."
God is more interested in the direction of your life than the speed of your occasional leaps. When you choose consistency over intensity, you are building a foundation that can actually support the weight of the glory He wants to give you. Grace for dominion is found in the "small things" done well, day after day.
Prayer
Father, I thank You for the Grace to stay steady. I repent of the "rollercoaster" lifestyle of being hot today and cold tomorrow. I receive the power to be consistent in my small beginnings. Help me to value the daily "plummet" of progress over the temporary surge of emotion. Strengthen my resolve to keep showing up until my consistency becomes my testimony. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declarations
- I value consistency over temporary intensity.
- My small, daily victories are leading to a massive harvest.
- I am steady, reliable, and unmoveable.
- I refuse to despise the day of small things.
- My consistency is breaking every rock of opposition.
Spirit Challenge
- The Sustainability Check: Look at your current goals. Is your pace something you can maintain for the next 6 months? If not, adjust it to a sustainable "daily drip."
- The 15-Minute Rule: Pick one area (study, prayer, or exercise) and commit to doing just 15 minutes today, even if you feel like doing more—the goal is to prove you can show up.
- Celebrate the Small: At the end of today, thank God specifically for the small tasks you completed consistently.
Closing Exhortation
Stop looking for the explosion.
Start looking for the heartbeat.
The steady drip breaks the rock.
The daily walk wins the race.
Consistency is the highest form of authority.
Stay the course.
