John 15:16
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain…”
Temporary results are not proof of establishment. Lasting fruit is.
Jesus did not just call you to produce fruit. He called you to produce fruit that remains.
That eliminates hype-driven success. That eliminates seasonal excitement. That eliminates activity without endurance.
From first principles, anything disconnected from its source will eventually decay. In John 15, remaining fruit is directly tied to abiding. No abiding, no permanence.
Fruit that remains is:
• Character that does not collapse
• Impact that outlives moments
• Influence that survives pressure
• Obedience that continues beyond applause
Many pursue visible results. Few pursue sustained connection. The branch does not strain to produce fruit. It stays connected.
If your prayer life fades when busy, the fruit will fade.
If your obedience weakens under pressure, the fruit will not remain.
If your identity shifts with environment, the fruit will decay.
Jesus chose and ordained you for permanence. That means your calling is not temporary. Your influence is not accidental. Your fruit is meant to endure.
This week is about sustainability. God is not building flashes. He is building legacy.
Remain in Him. That is the system.
Father, strengthen my connection to You. I refuse temporary fruit. Let my character, obedience, and impact endure. Remove anything in me that produces short-lived results. Establish me to bear fruit that remains and multiplies beyond seasons. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Abiding is not optional.
It is the only way fruit remains.
Stay connected. Stay rooted. Stay fruitful.
This year 2026, I enter divinely into my new glory.
