Reflection

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye’s global impact did not begin with ambition for influence — it began with a heart resolved to obey, serve, and stay humble.

Despite academic excellence, global recognition, and undeniable grace, one defining trait has marked his journey: humility before God.

When God elevated him into leadership, he did not rush to impress the world — he bowed deeper before God.

He submitted to instruction.
He honored spiritual authority.
He remained teachable — even at the peak of influence.

This is a kingdom mystery many overlook:

God does not promote pride; He entrusts glory to humility.

Pastor Adeboye teaches us that expansion is not a reward for self-effort — it is the outcome of submission.

God can only enlarge what He can govern.

In 2026, many desire platforms, visibility, and influence.
But God is asking first:
Can I trust you to stay small in your own eyes while I make you large in impact?

New glory flows safely through vessels who remain low before God.

Prayer

Father, I thank You for the grace of humility.
Deliver me from pride, self-reliance, and the hunger for recognition.

As You enlarge my influence, preserve my heart.
Let my life reflect Your glory, not my ego.
I receive grace to walk humbly into the new glory You have prepared for me.
