Acts 9:26–27
“And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him… But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles…”
Acts 11:22–24
“Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church… and they sent forth Barnabas… who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad…”
Ecclesiastes 4:9
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.”
Destiny is not only discovered by those who lead —
it is often unlocked by those who discern, support, and stand with others.
Barnabas is one of the most underrated yet powerful figures in Scripture.
He was not the loudest preacher, the boldest apostle, or the most visible leader — but he was divinely positioned as a destiny connector.
When others saw Saul’s past, Barnabas discerned Saul’s future.
The church feared Saul because of his history. Barnabas believed Saul because of grace.
He took a risk — not blindly, but discerningly.
Barnabas understood a vital truth:
Not every transformed life will be immediately accepted, but every genuine calling needs support.
Later, when the church in Antioch began to grow, Barnabas did something unusual.
Instead of protecting his influence, he went to look for Saul and brought him into the work.
Why?
Because Barnabas was not threatened by potential.
He was committed to purpose.
In 2026, divine direction will require discernment in relationships:
Who to stand with
Who to support
Who to recommend
Who to mentor
Who to protect
Supporting destinies is not about popularity — it is about alignment.
Barnabas teaches us:
Discernment sees beyond reputation
Alignment supports what God is growing
Impact multiplies when ego is removed
Some of the glory God will release through you this year will not come from what you do — but from who you help rise.
Father, thank You for the gift of discernment.
Teach me to recognize genuine grace, emerging callings, and developing destinies.
Remove jealousy, fear, and insecurity from my heart.
Align me with the right people, and make me a vessel that supports what You are building.
Let my obedience to support others unlock new glory and lasting impact.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I discern God’s work in people.
I support destinies without fear or insecurity.
I am aligned with purpose-driven relationships.
I am a connector, not a competitor.
I walk in divine direction and multiplied impact.
Ask God today:
“Lord, whose destiny have You positioned me to support?”
Pray for them intentionally.
Encourage them deliberately.
Stand with them faithfully.
Supporting destinies is a divine assignment.
Barnabas may not have written epistles —
but without him, some epistles may never have been written.
Your discernment, support, and alignment can unlock someone else’s destiny — and your own new glory.
Welcome to 2026 —
Our Year of Divine Direction into New Glory.
“And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” — Daniel 12:3
