DAY 25 — BILLY GRAHAM: STAYING FOCUSED ON GOD’S ASSIGNMENT

Anchor Scriptures

1 Corinthians 4:2
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”

John 17:4
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.”

Hebrews 12:1–2
“Let us lay aside every weight… and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.”

Opening Thought

Great impact is not produced by doing many things.
It is produced by doing the one thing God assigned you—faithfully.

Reflection

Billy Graham shook the world, not because he tried to be everything, but because he stayed focused on what God called him to do.

He was not distracted by trends.
He did not dilute his message to fit culture.
He refused to turn ministry into entertainment or compromise truth for applause.

His assignment was clear:
Preach Christ.
Call men to repentance.
Lift Jesus above every name.

And he guarded that assignment with discipline.

While many chased influence, Billy Graham protected integrity.
While others expanded into distractions, he narrowed his focus.
While the world offered power, politics, and prestige, he chose obedience.

Billy Graham understood a powerful kingdom principle:
Focus preserves anointing.

Distraction drains grace.
Compromise weakens authority.
But alignment sustains glory.

He finished his race without scandal.
He kept his message simple and pure.
He remained faithful to the end.

In 2026, many believers will not lose destiny through sin—but through distraction.
Too many voices.
Too many options.
Too many side assignments.

New glory flows where focus is restored.

God is not asking you to run another man’s race.
He is calling you to finish your own assignment.

Prayer

Father, I thank You for the assignment You have entrusted to me. Deliver me from distraction, comparison, and unnecessary pursuits. Align my focus with Your will. Give me grace to guard my calling, walk in integrity, and finish my race faithfully. Let my life glorify You, and let my obedience usher me into new glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declarations

I am faithful to God’s assignment.
I am not distracted from my calling.
My focus preserves my anointing.
I finish my race with integrity and impact.
Through obedience and focus, I enter new glory.

Spirit Challenge

Ask yourself today:
What has God clearly called me to do?
What distractions have crept in?

Write them down.
Lay them before God.
Remove one distraction this week.

Focus is a spiritual decision.

Closing Exhortation

God does not reward noise—He rewards faithfulness.
When focus is restored, glory is sustained.

Welcome to 2026 —
Our Year of New Glory.
