DAY 3 — ALIGNING YOUR PRIORITIES: PUTTING GOD FIRST AGAIN

Scriptures:

Matthew 6:33

“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Revelation 2:4

“Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

Psalm 16:8

“I have set the Lord always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.”

Reflection:

Divine alignment cannot happen until priorities are restored.
Misalignment begins the moment God is no longer first in our hearts, schedules, decisions, and desires.

Many believers don’t abandon God intentionally — life simply becomes noisy, busy, and demanding. Slowly, subtly, God is moved from the center to the background.

But December is God’s wake-up call:

“Return to your first love. Put Me first again.”

When God is not first:

  • Prayer becomes optional
  • The Word becomes occasional
  • Obedience becomes negotiable
  • Discernment becomes weak
  • Peace becomes unstable

But when God takes His rightful place:

  • Clarity returns
  • Strength rises
  • Peace settles
  • Direction becomes sharp
  • Every other part of your life finds order

Putting God first is not about religious duty.
It is about relationship, alignment, and destiny accuracy.

To align your priorities means:

  • God first in your decisions
  • God first in your desires
  • God first in how you spend your time
  • God first in your goals
  • God first in your daily routine

The truth is simple:
Whatever leads you, shapes you.
Whatever you put first, directs the rest.

If you make God first, everything else falls into divine order.

Prayer:

Father, I place You first again in my life.
Every priority that has shifted me away from You, I lay it down.
Realign my heart, my time, my energy, and my desires.
Teach me to seek You first, love You deeply, and follow You faithfully.
Order my steps and help me honour You in all things.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration:

  • God is first in my life again.
  • My priorities are aligned with His will.
  • I put Him before my plans, desires, and decisions.
  • My steps are ordered and my heart is set on Him.
  • I walk in divine alignment today and always.

Spirit Challenge:

Today, identify one area where God has not been first — your time, your habits, your decisions, or your desires.
Surrender it to Him and reorder your day around His presence.
