December: Our Month of Divine Alignment
Week 5 — Alignment for 2026
Isaiah 45:2–3
“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight… and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places…”
Deuteronomy 11:12
“A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.”
Luke 1:80
“And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.”
Ecclesiastes 7:8
“Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof…”
Crossover is not merely a change of date — it is a change of spiritual positioning.
Not everyone who enters a new year is positioned for it.
Some arrive early but unprepared.
Others arrive on time but misaligned.
But tonight, God is not just bringing you into 2026 —
He is bringing you in positioned.
Positioned in understanding.
Positioned in obedience.
Positioned in clarity.
As you cross into a new year, alignment must be intentional and documented. Scripture teaches us to write the vision and make it plain. This is a season to write down your goals for 2026 — spiritual, personal, family, career, and kingdom goals — and then commit them to God in prayer.
Do not just write them and forget them.
Write them with expectation.
Pray over them consistently.
And as God answers, tick them off in gratitude.
Your written goals will become testimonies in motion.
Crossover moments are sacred because they mark:
The end of delay
The burial of expired cycles
The activation of new authority
This is also why believers must honor the crossover moment in God’s presence. Christians should be found in crossover services in their local churches — praying, worshiping, and celebrating into the new year.
It is always better to enter a new year in God’s presence than to drift into it distracted or careless.
You cannot afford to begin a year in darkness and expect light-filled results.
It is better to be in God’s presence than anywhere else.
First impressions matter — even spiritually.
What you start with often determines what you experience.
How you enter the year sets the tone for how you walk through it.
If you start with prayer, you walk with clarity.
If you start with worship, you walk with gratitude.
If you start with alignment, you walk with direction.
This is why we declare:
Start well. Start strong. Finish great.
God does not waste seasons.
Every instruction you received in December was preparation.
Every separation you obeyed was alignment.
Every quiet moment was shaping capacity.
Deuteronomy reminds us that God watches over the year from its beginning to its end.
This means 2026 is not unknown territory — it is already under divine supervision.
You are not stepping into chaos.
You are stepping into carefully ordered territory.
You are not just crossing over —
You are crossing over positioned for the new.
Father, tonight I stand at the threshold of a new year with gratitude and reverence. Thank You for preserving me, aligning me, and preparing me. As I cross into 2026, I do not cross casually — I cross consciously. I step out of old limitations and into new authority. Order my steps, sharpen my discernment, and position me for everything You have prepared. Let my obedience unlock access, and let alignment produce acceleration. I cross over covered, confident, and commissioned. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
I cross into 2026 positioned and prepared.
I am aligned with God’s purpose and timing.
My steps are ordered, and my ears are open.
I do not carry old cycles into the new year.
I walk into 2026 with clarity, courage, and conviction.
The Lord goes before me and makes the way straight.
I am positioned for new glory, new instruction, and new impact.
Before midnight:
Sit quietly for a few minutes.
Thank God for 2025.
Declare aloud: “I am positioned for the new.”
Do not rush this moment.
Crossover power flows through intentional alignment.
2026 will not reward noise — it will reward alignment.
It will not promote haste — it will promote obedience.
It will not elevate familiarity — it will elevate faithfulness.
Leaders who thrive will be those who:
Listen before acting
Align before building
Obey before explaining
You are stepping into a year where precision matters.
Every successful crossover begins with clarity of instruction.
Leaders who thrive in 2026 will not be those who act first — but those who listen first.
God is raising leaders who:
If you desire to grow intentionally, sharpen leadership capacity, and prepare purposefully for 2026:
A space for growth, leadership clarity, and preparation for influence:
