Haggai 2:9 – “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former…”
Isaiah 60:1 – “Arise, shine; for thy light is come…”
Psalm 3:3 – “But thou, O LORD, art… my glory…”
Latter glory is not a concept, a feeling, or a season —
It is a person. His name is Jesus.
Many pursue glory through effort, achievements, or religious activities, but Scripture makes it clear:
Christ in you is the ONLY hope of glory.
Without Christ, there is no true glory.
With Christ, glory becomes inevitable.
When Jesus lives in a man, He brings the radiance of heaven, the beauty of redemption, and the power that transforms destiny from “ordinary” to “glorious.”
Let’s explore what makes Christ the believer’s true hope of latter glory:
Jesus is not a carrier of glory —
He is the glory of God manifested.
Everywhere He stepped, glory followed:
To behold Christ is to behold the full expression of God’s glory on earth (John 1:14).
Latter glory is not an external event;
it is an internal reality.
Through salvation, Jesus comes to dwell within us —
not beside us, not around us — inside us.
This inner glory:
Christ in you makes glory your inheritance.
You don’t climb into glory by human effort.
Christ transforms you from the inside out (2 Corinthians 3:18).
As you walk with Him:
Glory is the natural result of staying connected to Christ.
Your latter end is secure — not because you are perfect, but because Christ is faithful.
He is the anchor that keeps your destiny stable, the author and finisher of your story, and the One who ensures your latter glory will be greater than your former.
As long as Christ lives in you, your future cannot be dim.
Lord Jesus, You are my hope of glory. Shine through me. Fill my heart, transform my life, and let Your glory be revealed in everything that concerns me. Amen.
Christ in me is the hope of glory.
My path shines brighter.
My latter glory is guaranteed.
My future is secured in Christ.
Spend 3 minutes declaring:
“Christ in me — my hope, my glory, my future.”
Say it until your spirit receives it.
