Isaiah 60:1–2 – “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.”
Haggai 2:9 – “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former, says the LORD of hosts; And in this place I will give peace.”
Psalm 3:3 – “But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the lifter of my head.”
Scripture Reading:
Isaiah 61:7 – “Instead of your shame you shall have double honor… and everlasting joy shall be yours.”
Joel 2:25–26 – “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten… My people shall never be put to shame.”
Psalm 34:5 – “They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.”
One of the signatures of latter glory is restoration — supernatural recovery of everything you thought was lost, wasted, stolen, or destroyed.
When the glory of God appears, shame disappears.
When His presence rises, honor returns.
When His light shines, lost years are redeemed.
Joel 2 reveals a God who not only restores what you lost, but restores the years — time you thought could never be recovered. Isaiah 61:7 shows that God replaces shame with double honor, and Psalm 34:5 reminds us that those who look to Him become radiant again.
Think of Joseph — forgotten, betrayed, wrongly imprisoned. Yet the latter glory of God lifted him from the prison to the palace in a single day. Everything he lost was restored with divine multiplication.
This is God's word for you today:
“Your story is not ending in shame. Your latter glory will be greater.”
Whatever left your life in the past season — peace, opportunities, relationships, strength, finances — God is restoring them with greater glory.
I walk in divine restoration. My honor is multiplied. My joy is renewed. My story shines with latter glory. I will never be put to shame.
Spend 5 minutes today thanking God aloud for every area of restoration you expect.
Name them one by one.
Gratitude is the voice that invites glory.
