NOVEMBER: OUR MONTH OF LATTER GLORY

Haggai 2:9 – “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts…”
Isaiah 60:1 – “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.”

DAY 23 — WALKING IN AUTHORITY: HOW TO SPEAK LIFE INTO YOUR FAMILY

Scriptures:

Joshua 24:15

“…But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Proverbs 18:21

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Isaiah 55:11

“So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void…”

Reflection:

Every family operates under a spiritual atmosphere, and that atmosphere is often shaped by the words spoken within the home. God has given you the authority to speak life, peace, protection, and destiny over your family.

Joshua understood this when he boldly declared, “As for me and my house…” That statement was not mere intention — it was spiritual legislation. He set the direction of his entire household with one prophetic declaration.

Your words create culture, expectations, unity, faith, and momentum within your family. When you speak fear, confusion, or frustration, the atmosphere reflects it. But when you speak life, heaven backs your declarations.

Proverbs 18:21 teaches that life and death are in the tongue.
Isaiah 55:11 assures that God’s Word spoken in faith cannot fail.

To walk in family authority:

  1. Declare alignment — Speak God’s will over your home daily.

  2. Reject negativity — Cancel every curse, fear, or unwholesome word.

  3. Bless your family intentionally — Speak peace, unity, prosperity, and protection.

  4. Stand as priest and gatekeeper — Refuse any spiritual influence that does not honor God.

  5. Prophesy the future — Call forth what God has promised concerning your lineage.

The latter glory of your family depends on the authority you exercise today. When you speak life, you plant seeds that shape destinies.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for giving me authority in Christ. I speak life, blessing, peace, and divine order over my family. Let every negative atmosphere be replaced with Your glory. Help me to use my words wisely and prophetically. As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration:

  • My family is covered, protected, and aligned with the will of God.

  • I speak life, not death — blessing, not curses.

  • My home is a dwelling of peace, unity, and divine order.

  • Every negative word spoken against my lineage is cancelled.

  • As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord and walk in latter glory.

Spirit Challenge:

Take 5 minutes today to verbally bless your family by name. Declare God’s promises over them. Speak peace, success, salvation, and protection into your household.
