Haggai 2:9 – “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former…”
Isaiah 60:1 – “Arise, shine; for thy light is come…”
Psalm 3:3 – “But thou, O LORD, art… my glory…”
The Shunammite woman’s story didn’t end with a miracle son.
It didn’t end with the resurrection of that son.
It didn’t even end when famine scattered her family for seven years.
God kept writing her story.
When she walked back into Israel, she walked into a finished miracle:
* Full restoration
* Seven years of compensation
* Royal attention from the king himself
* Divine timing orchestrated from heaven
This is the God of latter glory:
The God who finishes what He starts.
Many believers experience the former glory — the beginning miracle — but miss the latter glory — the completed testimony.
The Shunammite woman experienced both.
He did not give her a son only to let famine swallow her inheritance.
He did not resurrect her child only to allow poverty to define her future.
God completes what He authors.
Former glory is good.
Latter glory is complete.
It is the miracle plus the restoration plus the compensation.
It is the testimony that makes sense of previous tears.
Notice the timing:
At the exact moment the king was hearing about her miracle, she walked in.
Heaven orchestrated her steps so her restoration would be undeniable.
When God finishes a thing, He also arranges the moment.
You will not see half a miracle.
You will not rise and fall.
You will not start and stop.
The God of completion will bring every prophecy, promise, and process to perfection.
Your latter glory will be full, finished, perfected, and undeniable.
Father, thank You because You are the God who completes every good work. Perfect all that concerns me. Finish my miracle. Finish my restoration. Finish my testimony. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
My miracle will not stop halfway.
My story will be complete.
My latter glory will shine brighter.
The Lord perfects all that concerns me.
Spend 3 minutes declaring:
“The God who started my miracle is perfecting it. My latter glory shall be complete.”
Say it until your spirit receives it.
