Haggai 2:9 – “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts…”
Isaiah 60:1 – “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.”
Psalm 3:3 – “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.”
The glory of God is not just a shining presence — it is a lifting force. When the glory of God rests upon a man, stagnation breaks, delays end, and his head begins to rise supernaturally.
Joseph is a powerful example. He once lost everything.
He lost his dream — after his brothers betrayed him, Scripture never recorded another dream from Joseph. He lost his family, he lost his coat of many colours — a symbol of honour and destiny. In Potiphar’s house, false accusation stripped him of dignity. In prison, he lost his freedom. Everything that once made his life colourful was taken away.
Yet when God’s latter glory came upon him, everything changed.
The dream he once lost became the dream he eventually lived. Though he no longer dreamed, he became a dream interpreter, a problem solver, and a custodian of divine wisdom.
The same Joseph who was forgotten became the man kings could not function without. The glory lifted him from the pit to Potiphar’s house, from Potiphar’s house to the prison, and from the prison straight to the palace. Through that lifting, he saved Egypt, surrounding nations, and even his own family from destruction.
This is what glory does — it lifts you beyond your losses, beyond your past, beyond your limitations.
Glory restores dignity, awakens purpose, and rewrites destinies. Glory turns victims into deliverers and forgotten men into rulers.
This month, the same lifting glory that raised Joseph will raise you.
You will not end where life pushed you down. God will lift your head above shame, stagnation, and delay. Your story is about to take a glorious turn.
I arise into glory. My head is lifted. My destiny rises. Everything lost is restored. I walk in divine honour and elevation. The glory of the Lord rests upon me!
Spend 5 minutes today speaking this aloud:
“My head is lifted. My life is rising. God’s glory is rewriting my story.”
Say it until your spirit catches fire.
