DEVOTION - FRI. 21ST NOVEMBER: REFLECTING ON YOUR WEEK: A STEP TOWARD FINANCIAL FAITHFULNESS

A calm, reflective Christian-themed image showing a person writing in a journal with warm morning light symbolizing clarity and wisdom. Include subtle elements like an open Bible, a cup of coffee, and soft golden glow representing "latter glory." Visual tone should feel peaceful, purpose-driven, and spiritual — capturing the theme of taking one practical step toward financial faithfulness.

NOVEMBER: OUR MONTH OF LATTER GLORY

DAY 21 — REFLECTING ON YOUR WEEK: A STEP TOWARD FINANCIAL FAITHFULNESS

(WEEK 3 Review: Glory in Finances, Work, Provision & Stewardship)

Scriptures:

  • Psalm 90:12“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

  • James 1:22“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

  • Proverbs 4:26“Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.”

Reflection:

Week 3 has been a journey. God has taken us through deliverance from debt, the power of diligent work, the peace of trusting His provision, and the call to faithful stewardship.

But today — Day 21 — the focus is simple:

What is ONE practical step you can take toward financial faithfulness?

God does not respond to good feelings or good intentions.
He responds to steps, actions, obedience, faithfulness.

This week you learned that:

1. Debt is bondage

And God wants you free so your future is not trapped by your past.

2. Your hands are your harvest

Your work is a seed. Your diligence is a gateway to wealth.

3. Peace can exist in scarcity

Because God, not your bank account, is your provider.

4. Stewardship multiplies glory

God does not waste increase on the unfaithful.

Now the Holy Spirit brings you to a point of reflection:

What will you do next?

Not tomorrow. Not next month.
Today.

Will you create a budget?
Stop borrowing?
Start saving intentionally?
Use your skills productively?
Tithe faithfully?
Cut waste?
Begin a side project?
Plan your giving?
Organize your finances?
Commit to diligence at work?

Your latter glory is not just a prophecy —
it is a path that you walk through intentional steps.

As James 1:22 warns, hearing without doing deceives you.
And Psalm 90:12 reminds us that wisdom grows when we take life seriously.

So today, your spiritual assignment is this:

🔹 Choose ONE action
🔹 Commit to it
🔹 Write it down
🔹 Start today

This one decision may become the seed of your next financial glory.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for everything You have taught me this week. Open my eyes to see the exact step I need to take toward financial faithfulness. Give me grace, discipline, and clarity to act on Your Word. Help me to walk in wisdom, manage my life well, and position myself for latter glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Declaration:

  • I am a doer of the Word, not just a hearer.
  • I walk in financial wisdom and discipline.
  • God guides my steps into increase and stability.
  • My hands carry harvest, and my decisions unlock glory.
  • I step into greater glory through practical obedience.

Spirit Challenge:

Write down ONE practical step you will take toward financial faithfulness — something small, realistic, and immediate.
Then implement it today.
Small obedience opens the door to great glory.
