Anchor Scriptures for the Month (NKJV)
“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.” — Colossians 1:13
“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” — John 8:36
3 John 1:2 (NKJV) — “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
1 Corinthians 6:19–20 (NKJV) — “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit… and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
Proverbs 4:20–22 (NKJV) — “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings… For they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.”
In a world full of diet fads, exercise trends and endless wellness advice, the Christian call to health is deeper — it’s spiritual stewardship. Your body is not just flesh; it is God’s temple (1 Corinthians 6:19).
When you walk in freedom and dominion, you do not allow your body, mind or spirit to be enslaved by sickness, fatigue, neglect or despair.
Many search for “how to lose weight,” “how to sleep better,” “how to manage stress,” or “why am I always tired.” These are valid cries — but the root answer lies in aligning your physical health with your spiritual identity.
Father, thank You that You care about my body, mind and spirit. I surrender every unhealthy habit, every area of neglect, every source of stress and fear. Renew my body, calm my mind, rejuvenate my spirit. I commit to stewarding my health as worship, so that I may walk in freedom and dominion. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
