🌸 Rebirth of the Genius Bride  –Chapter 1: The Genius Child 🌸

The classroom buzzed with restless chatter. Chalk dust floated in the air as the teacher scribbled an impossibly complex equation across the blackboard.

“Settle down!” he barked. “Today’s problem will decide who represents our school in the city competition.”

Every student stiffened. The city competition was no joke—it was the stage where reputations were made.

And the equation he had written? It was the kind of problem even university scholars struggled to solve.

Whispers spread across the room like wildfire.

“No way. That’s unsolvable.”
“Is he trying to humiliate us?”
“Whoever solves this… has to be a monster.”

At the very back of the classroom sat a girl with her chin resting on her hand, eyes half-lidded as if she wasn’t listening at all.

Her name was Lianhua.

The same Lianhua who, in another life, had died screaming in flames.

Now, reborn into her childhood, she sat calmly, the corners of her lips twitching ever so slightly.

This problem? She almost laughed. I solved it years ago… in another lifetime.

The teacher turned, chalk in hand. “Well? Any volunteers?”

Silence. No one dared move.

Then, a chair scraped. Every head turned.

Lianhua stood, her expression unreadable. Her small frame looked fragile, but the way she carried herself made the air grow heavy.

“I’ll do it,” she said simply.

The class erupted.

“Lianhua? Are you crazy?”
“She can’t even pass normal tests!”
“She’s just trying to act impressive.”

The teacher frowned, uncertain. “Lianhua, this is not the time to joke.”

Her gaze met his—steady, cold, with a hint of mockery. “Do I look like I’m joking?”

Without waiting for permission, she walked to the front, picked up the chalk, and began to write.

The room fell silent.

Her hand moved with precision, each stroke confident, each number flowing seamlessly into the next. Where others would hesitate, she didn’t pause for even a breath.

Minutes passed. Whispers began again, this time tinged with awe.

“She… she’s solving it?”
“No way. I don’t even understand the first line.”
“Is she… actually a genius?”

The teacher leaned forward, eyes widening as he followed her steps. The logic, the elegance of her solution—it was flawless.

Finally, with a sharp tap, she dropped the chalk and turned back to face the stunned room.

“Done.”

Gasps filled the classroom. The teacher stepped closer, scanning the board with trembling hands.

Perfect. Every line. Not a single mistake.

He turned to her, his voice shaking. “This… this solution… it’s brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.”

The students gawked, their earlier jeers stuck in their throats.

Lianhua’s lips curved into the faintest smile. Not warm, not shy—cold, sharp, and deliberate.

Yes. Look at me. Underestimate me now, so it hurts more later.

The teacher, still stunned, could barely speak. “Lianhua… you will represent our school in the city competition.”

The classroom exploded into noise, disbelief clashing with envy.

“She cheated, right? There’s no way she knew that!”
“No… the teacher said it himself. She’s right.”
“Since when was Lianhua… like this?”

But Lianhua ignored them. She returned to her seat, her fingers tapping lightly on her desk.

Inside, her thoughts were far from the classroom.

In my past life, I was naive, too trusting. I let them all crush me. But not this time.

Her eyes flickered, cold and calculating.

This time, I’ll rise higher than all of them. I’ll make the world kneel before me… and then I’ll destroy the ones who betrayed me.

As the noise swirled around her, Lianhua whispered under her breath, so softly no one else could hear—

“Soon… I’ll come for you, Xuan Hao.”

The name of her former husband. The man who had let her burn.

And with that whisper, her fate began to twist again.
