Much Room: Your Season of Enlargement - by Rev Albert Femi Oduwole
Key Scripture
“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.”
— Psalm 113:7–9 (KJV)
Introduction
Every new season in God carries prophetic weight. This is your season of much room — a time when God transitions you:
-
from limitations to enlargement,
-
from lack to abundance,
-
from obscurity to prominence.
Scripture assures us that God is the lifter of men. He raises the poor from the dust, settles the barren in joyful families, and causes the despised to sit with princes. No matter where you’ve been, God’s plan is to enlarge your space and usher you into greater influence and blessing.
1. It’s Your Season of Much Room
Scriptures: Psalm 113:7–9; Isaiah 54:2–3
Declare this boldly:
“This is my season of much room!”
God delights in enlarging territories: barren women rejoiced in childbirth, slaves became rulers, rejected people became sought-after leaders. When He enlarges you, it’s so evident that even your doubters will testify.
Key Takeaway: Stop limiting God by your circumstances. Expect more, because He is the God of much more.
2. God Lifts the Humble and Turns Situations Around
Scriptures: Psalm 3:2–4; Job 42:12–15
-
A houseboy became a bishop, and his former masters knelt for his prayers.
-
A woman waited 18 years for a child; after adoption, she conceived within a year.
-
A man once mocked later owned properties in Banana Island and London.
Prophetic Word: The same God who turned their lives around will lift your head and do even more for you.
3. The Second Half of the Year Carries Divine Help
Scriptures: Joshua 6:16; Isaiah 43:19
On the seventh day, Israel shouted and Jericho’s walls fell. Likewise, as you step into the latter half of the year, expect God to do something new.
Prophetic Promise:
What you couldn’t achieve in the first half of the year, divine intervention will accomplish in this second half.
4. Keys to Experiencing Much Room
a. What Do You See?
Scriptures: Jeremiah 1:11–12; Habakkuk 2:1–3
Your life moves in the direction of your vision. If you see small, you remain small; if you see big, you grow big.
-
Surround yourself with vision-enlarging people.
-
Change environments that limit you.
-
See yourself as God sees you — blessed, fruitful, and influential.
b. What Do You Say?
Scriptures: Matthew 9:29; 1 Peter 3:10; Proverbs 18:21
Words create realities. Speak blessings and align your confession with God’s promises.
-
Stop calling yourself “common.”
-
Declare daily: “My head is lifted; I am blessed; my territory is enlarged.”
c. What Do You Sow?
Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 9:6–8; Luke 6:38
Generosity is a kingdom key to enlargement. You don’t give because you have; you give your way into abundance.
-
Tithes and offerings open doors to breakthrough.
-
Sow toward your future — your seed speaks for you.
Prophetic Declaration (Prayer of Jabez)
Scripture: 1 Chronicles 4:10
Pray this with faith:
“Oh, that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!”
I declare over you:
-
Your territory is enlarged.
-
God’s hand rests upon you for favor.
-
No evil will befall you.
-
You will bring joy, not pain.
-
Enter your much room season in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Final Word
God is not a God of small things. He desires to enlarge you beyond what you can ask or imagine. Align your heart, words, and seed with Him — and watch Him usher you into much room.
