The Oil of Gladness: Overcoming Depression

Scripture:
“To console those who mourn in Zion... the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.” — Isaiah 61:3

✨ Reflection

Depression, heaviness, and sorrow are tools of the enemy to drain strength, steal joy, blind us from hope and block fruitfulness. But But Christ came to give us the oil of gladness and the garment of praise. Joy is not just an emotion—it is a spiritual weapon.

When you choose joy in God's presence, heabiness breaks. Praise silence the enemy and invites divine strength. Fruitfulness flows where gladness reigns, because joy releases creativity, faith, and resilience.

Beloved, no matter how heavy your heart feels, don't let the enemy steal your joy. Put on the garment of praise, let the Holy Spirit fill you with fresh gladness today because praise is the key that unlocks the flow of gladness.

🙏 Prayer

Father, clothe me with the garment of praise. Fill my heart with the oil of gladness, and let every heaviness and depression be broken in Jesus' name. Amen.

• I am anointed with the oil of gladness.

• I put on the garment of praise

• The oil of gladness flows in my life!

• Depression ans heaviness have no power over me. They are destroyed in Jesus' name!
